Papp László has been shaping Budapest's techno scene for two decades as part of the NVC promoter crew. He's also one of the founders of Turbina club and INOTA Festival. Under his DJ alias Subotage, he’s well-known in the electronic music scene, but he also explores more pop-sensitive, self-therapeutic sounds through his Surfalone project. After releasing a full-length album centered around the metaphor of waves, Surfalone now returns with a fresh new single. Built on his own vocals and supported by Laura Döbrösi (from Aranyélet), Ragyogj ✨ is a galactic indie drum & bass track — essentially an ode to love, written in a single night, fueled by an unexpected emotional outburst.
The sweeping track comes with remixes from prominent Hungarian producers who have been featured in Telekom Electronic Beats' SZELEKTOR compilations — including the essential figure of groovy techno, Sonic Rain; the new wave trance duo Szoliver & Slym; and the rhythm-breaking stylings of FALMI and Liveon.

According to the artist, the events in the music video can be interpreted in an abstract way — for example, as a symbol of the current generation’s radiance. “They operate in a completely different way than imagined by decision-makers stuck in the past, who can pass whatever laws they want about drug restrictions or against the LGBTQ+ community. These young people are changing the world entirely on their own terms — in their sweet little circles, at afterparties and festivals, sitting on hillsides, pulsing with their inner light. At the same time, the song is meant to be interpreted freely — everyone can relate to it in their own way, even in ways I might never think of myself.”
