The new exhibition at Műcsarnok presents network scientist Albert-László Barabási’s art project built around “dataism,” combining scientific data analysis with contemporary painting. One of the most compelling aspects of the exhibition is its duality: Barabási applies the network principles from his bestselling book The Formula to himself, examining the mechanisms of artistic success simultaneously as a scientist and as a creator.
The closing event will be accompanied by experimental electronic music, featuring emerging Hungarian artists who also appear on Telekom Electronic Beats’ upcoming SZELEKTOR 26 compilation, set for release in mid-May.

Virág Réti – an exciting, experimental emerging artist who blurs the boundaries between reality and fiction in her sound. Her toolkit includes field recordings combined with digital textures, often resulting in organic yet futuristic or dreamlike atmospheres. Her musical approach goes beyond traditional song structures; her compositions resemble sonic landscapes where natural sounds and abstract electronics coexist as equal elements.
eee (Eszeveszett) – one of the rawest and most uncompromising acts in the Hungarian underground electronic scene, merging hardcore techno, drone, and experimental noise into a single overwhelming burst of energy. As the name suggests, the project aims to create total catharsis and an instinctive, “frenzied” dancefloor experience where the boundaries between performer and audience dissolve.
